About three years ago, Jay's mama spent about NT$30million for a 96sq. metre apartment as a gift for her son in Tamsui district, based in Taipei. Supposedly during pre-sale and advertisement, mama Chou was thoroughly convinced that the apartment will have scenic views of Tamsui river and Datun/Guanyin mountain ranges. So, she signed the contract.
When it was finally built, she's furiously shocked to discover that the scenic views are off 'abandoned graves!' She terminated the contract and requested to be refunded because she believes this is false advertising. Contractor then demanded compensation for breach of contract. On their defence, they didn't notice the graves in the first place. Instead, they applied permit to have it relocated.
Jay fully supports his mother's legal action. Meanwhile, the next hearing is due to take place on the 1st of November for further investigations.
